About Us

Du-Vino Exports is a South African company based in beautiful Cape Town, that was initially founded as a way to assist the South African wine industry to export their wines during the pandemic. We believe that wines from the local region are some of the best wines in the world and we aim to make local wines available globally by exporting it where ever people enjoy a good glass of wine.

We believe in uncompromising quality, and sustainable practices while cultivating relationships with our suppliers and customers. We are building a network based on trust, integrity, and mutual growth, and we look forward to adding like-minded producers, suppliers, and customers to this network.

Although wine is our main commodity, we can also facilitate the export of other goods like sunflower oil.

Our Team

Herman du Plooy

Herman, born a South African, raised in Johannesburg and residing in Cape Town is a family man, a visionary with entrepreneurial skills applied to establish businesses in markets with high demand. Herman has successfully established companies in Australia, DRC, and South Africa, from raising investment funding or seed capital to well-established and successful companies.
He approaches life head-on and is unafraid of unknown risks or market segments. Pursuing new opportunities is a strong quality.
He aims to succeed at whatever opportunity is introduced and he gets involved with it without neglecting his beliefs or that of his family, fellow employees, or partners. 

Daan du Toit

Daan is a happily married man for the last 47 years. His passion is Project Management. He is a positive person and a perfectionist, striving to solve problems to successfully complete projects.
His education consists of BOP UOFS, Project Management, Project Risk Management (US) & Health and Safety approved by NOSA. He has managed multi-million ZAR projects all over the country.
His vision enabled his company (Transtel) to receive a Smithsonian Institution award in 2000 for the use of technology to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
